Wakefield Thermal offers a wide range of shapes and sizes, including high aspect ratios. This allows engineers to select a heat sink that achieves optimal thermal and structural performance in a wide range of applications, taking into consideration ambient temperature, maximum junction temperature, power dissipation, and forced or natural convection. These are primarily produced using aluminum alloy 6063-T5 for its excellent thermal and mechanical properties, and Wakefield Thermal offers multiple finish options including hard anodizing, architectural anodizing, chromate conversion for corrosion prevention, aqueous wash, milling, powder coating, and painting.
