A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the input and output traces short and away from each other to minimize noise coupling.
The ES1DAF requires a bias voltage of 2.5V to 5.5V. Ensure the bias voltage is stable and noise-free, and that the bias pin is decoupled with a 10nF capacitor to ground.
The ES1DAF can handle input signal amplitudes up to 2Vpp. Exceeding this may result in distortion and reduced performance.
To minimize power consumption, operate the ES1DAF at the lowest possible supply voltage (2.5V) and reduce the bias current by using a higher value resistor in the bias network.
Use a TVS diode or a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) with a standoff voltage of 5.5V or less to protect the ES1DAF from electrostatic discharge (ESD).
