The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the LM317T is 40V. Exceeding this voltage can cause damage to the device.
To ensure stability and prevent oscillations, a minimum output capacitance of 1uF is recommended. Additionally, the input capacitor should be at least 10uF to prevent oscillations.
The LM317T requires a minimum load current of 3.5mA to regulate properly. If the load current is less than this, the output voltage may not be regulated accurately.
