  • XP Power recommends a PCB layout with a large copper area for heat dissipation, and a minimum of 2oz copper thickness. A thermal via array under the module is also recommended.
  • Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range, and the input capacitance is sufficient to handle the inrush current. A soft-start circuit can also be used to reduce the inrush current.
  • The maximum allowable capacitance is 47uF. Exceeding this value may cause instability or oscillation in the output voltage.
