Abracon recommends a symmetrical PCB layout with a solid ground plane, and keeping the crystal and capacitors as close as possible to the oscillator pins. A 4-layer PCB with a dedicated ground plane is recommended for high-frequency designs.
To ensure reliable startup, Abracon recommends using a 10kΩ to 20kΩ pull-up resistor on the oscillator enable pin, and a 100nF to 1uF decoupling capacitor on the power supply pin. Additionally, ensure the power supply is stable and within the recommended operating range.
The ACMP-4528-900-T is rated for operation from -40°C to +85°C. However, Abracon recommends derating the frequency tolerance and stability over the full operating temperature range.
