AD8347ARUZ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate analog ground plane is recommended. Keep the input and output traces short and away from digital signals. Use a common mode choke or ferrite bead to filter the power supply lines.
  • Use the internal gain and offset adjustment pins (GAIN and OFFSET) to adjust the amplifier's gain and offset. You can also use external resistors to adjust the gain and offset. Refer to the datasheet for the recommended values and equations.
  • The maximum input voltage is ±5.5V, exceeding which can cause damage to the device. Ensure that the input voltage is within the recommended range to prevent damage.
  • Ensure that the output is properly terminated, and the input impedance is matched to the source impedance. Use a capacitor in parallel with the output resistor to improve stability. Avoid capacitive loads and use a ferrite bead or common mode choke to filter the power supply lines.
  • Use a 10uF ceramic capacitor in parallel with a 100nF ceramic capacitor to decouple the power supply lines. Place the capacitors close to the device and use a low-ESR capacitor to minimize noise.
