  • Abracon recommends a symmetrical PCB layout with a solid ground plane, and keeping the oscillator away from high-frequency noise sources. A 4-layer PCB with a dedicated ground plane is ideal. Refer to Abracon's application note AN-04 for more details.
  • To ensure reliable startup, Abracon recommends a power-up ramp time of at least 1 ms/V, and a power supply voltage that reaches the minimum specified voltage (1.8V) within 10 ms. Additionally, ensure the oscillator is not loaded with excessive capacitance during startup.
  • The maximum allowed capacitance on the output pin is 15 pF. Exceeding this value may affect the oscillator's frequency stability and startup reliability.
  • The ALANL100X1-EF10DT is rated for operation up to 125°C. However, the frequency stability and aging characteristics may be affected at high temperatures. Consult Abracon's application note AN-05 for more information on high-temperature operation.
