Abracon recommends a soldering temperature profile with a peak temperature of 240°C to 250°C, with a dwell time of 1-2 seconds. This ensures reliable solder joints and minimizes thermal stress on the component.
The AOCJY-12.800MHZ oscillator is designed to power up and power down in a controlled manner. It's recommended to sequence the power supply to the oscillator such that the voltage supply is stable before enabling the oscillator, and to disable the oscillator before removing power.
Abracon recommends a minimum spacing of 0.5 mm between the oscillator and other components, and a PCB layout that minimizes noise and electromagnetic interference (EMI). A ground plane under the oscillator is also recommended to reduce noise and improve stability.
The AOCJY-12.800MHZ is rated for operation up to 85°C. For high-temperature applications above 85°C, Abracon recommends using a different oscillator model specifically designed for high-temperature operation.
The AOCJY-12.800MHZ oscillator is designed to provide low phase noise and jitter. Typical phase noise is -120 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset, and typical jitter is 50 ps RMS. For specific requirements, please consult the datasheet or contact Abracon's technical support.
