The recommended soldering temperature profile is 260°C for 10 seconds, with a peak temperature of 240°C for 5 seconds. It's essential to follow the recommended profile to prevent damage to the device.
To ensure the oscillator starts up correctly, make sure to provide a stable power supply voltage, and ensure the power-on reset (POR) circuit is properly implemented. A 0.1uF decoupling capacitor between VCC and GND is also recommended.
The maximum allowable frequency deviation is ±50 ppm over the operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. This deviation is due to the inherent characteristics of the crystal and the oscillator circuit.
While the AS-16.000MAHK-B is designed to operate in a variety of environments, it's not recommended for use in extremely humid environments (above 80% RH). If you must use it in a humid environment, ensure proper sealing and conformal coating to prevent moisture ingress.
