Abracon recommends following the PCB layout guidelines provided in the application note AN-03, which includes using a solid ground plane, minimizing trace lengths, and using 50-ohm transmission lines for the clock and data signals.
Proper termination is critical for high-speed signals. Abracon recommends using a 50-ohm termination resistor in series with the clock and data signals, and a 0.01uF capacitor in parallel with the termination resistor to ground.
The ASPI-104S-7R0M-T is rated for operation from -40°C to +85°C, but it's recommended to derate the frequency and voltage according to the temperature derating curve provided in the datasheet.
While the ASPI-104S-7R0M-T is designed for 50-ohm systems, it can be used in non-50-ohm systems with proper impedance matching. However, this may require additional circuitry and may affect the device's performance and reliability.
Abracon recommends using a 0.1uF ceramic capacitor in parallel with a 10uF electrolytic capacitor, both connected as close as possible to the device's power pins, to ensure stable power supply and minimize noise.
