ASPI-3012S-100M-T Details

Abracon recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane for the oscillator. The oscillator output should be routed as a differential pair, and the power supply lines should be decoupled with capacitors.
To ensure reliable startup, Abracon recommends a power-up sequence where the power supply voltage is applied before the enable pin is asserted. Additionally, a 10kΩ pull-up resistor on the enable pin can help ensure a clean startup.
The ASPI-3012S-100M-T is rated for operation from -40°C to +85°C. However, it's recommended to derate the frequency stability and jitter performance at temperatures above 70°C.
While the ASPI-3012S-100M-T is specified for a 100MHz output frequency, Abracon can provide custom frequencies upon request. Contact Abracon's sales team to discuss custom frequency options.
Abracon recommends a 50Ω termination scheme for the differential output of the ASPI-3012S-100M-T. This can be achieved using a 50Ω resistor in series with the output pin and a 50Ω load resistor to ground.
