AVL32453 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • Panasonic recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane for the AVL32453. The device should be placed near the power source, and the input and output traces should be kept short and away from noise sources.
  • The AVL32453 has a thermal pad on the bottom of the package. Ensure good thermal contact between the pad and the PCB by using a thermal interface material (TIM) and a heat sink if necessary. Keep the ambient temperature below 85°C and avoid hot spots on the PCB.
