Panasonic recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and a separate power plane for the input and output. The input and output capacitors should be placed as close as possible to the IC, and the PCB traces should be kept short and wide to minimize inductance and resistance.
The AXT326124 has a thermal pad on the bottom of the package, which should be connected to a thermal plane on the PCB. A thermal interface material (TIM) can be used to improve heat transfer between the IC and the PCB. Additionally, the PCB should be designed to allow for good airflow around the IC.
The maximum allowed voltage on the EN pin is 6V, although the recommended voltage is 3.3V or 5V. Applying a voltage higher than 6V can damage the IC.
The AXT326124 is rated for operation up to 105°C, but the output voltage and current may degrade at high temperatures. Panasonic recommends derating the output current by 50% when operating above 85°C.
