Murata recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane for the module. The PCB should also have a 50-ohm microstrip transmission line for the antenna connection.
Use a reliable serial communication protocol such as UART or SPI, and ensure that the baud rate and data format are correctly configured. Also, use a level shifter if the MCU's logic level is different from the module's.
The maximum transmission power of the BL01RN1-A62 module is +20 dBm (100 mW) for Bluetooth 5.0 and +10 dBm (10 mW) for Bluetooth 4.2.
Use a network analyzer to measure the antenna's impedance and adjust the matching circuit accordingly. Murata also provides a recommended antenna design and tuning guide in the module's application note.
