DPA425R Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

The DPA425R can operate from -40°C to 125°C, but the maximum junction temperature (TJ) should not exceed 150°C.
Proper cooling can be achieved by using a heat sink with a thermal resistance of 10°C/W or less, and ensuring good airflow around the device.
A 2-layer or 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate layer for the high-voltage traces is recommended. Keep the high-voltage traces short and away from sensitive analog circuits.
Use a voltage clamp or a transient voltage suppressor (TVS) to protect against overvoltage, and a fuse or a current-limiting resistor to protect against overcurrent.
A 10uF to 22uF X7R or X5R ceramic capacitor is recommended for the input filter capacitor, depending on the specific application requirements.
