LBP01-0810B Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the RF traces as short as possible and use a 50-ohm impedance-controlled line to the antenna.
  • Use a network analyzer to measure the antenna's impedance and adjust the matching components accordingly. A pi-network or a series-LC circuit can be used for impedance matching.
  • Use a 10uF ceramic capacitor in parallel with a 100nF ceramic capacitor, both placed as close as possible to the power pins. Add a 10uF electrolytic capacitor for bulk decoupling.
  • Use a spectrum analyzer to check for RF interference, and verify the antenna's impedance matching. Check the PCB layout for any issues, and ensure the power supply is stable and clean.
  • The recommended operating temperature range is -40°C to 85°C. However, the device can tolerate temperatures up to 105°C for short periods during reflow soldering.
