The maximum operating temperature range for the LTM4637 is -40°C to 125°C.
To optimize the layout, keep the input and output capacitors close to the device, use a solid ground plane, and keep the high-frequency signals away from the sensitive analog nodes. Also, use a shielded inductor and keep the inductor leads short.
The recommended input capacitor value is 10uF to 22uF, and the recommended type is a low-ESR ceramic capacitor, such as X5R or X7R.
The inductor value depends on the output voltage, output current, and switching frequency. A good starting point is to use the inductor value recommended in the datasheet. For the inductor type, use a shielded inductor with a low DCR (DC resistance) and high saturation current.
The maximum output current capability of the LTM4637 is 3.5A per phase, and 7A total output current.
