  • Cosel recommends a multi-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a thermal relief pattern under the module to ensure good heat dissipation. A minimum of 2 oz copper thickness is recommended. Additionally, a thermal interface material (TIM) with a thermal conductivity of 1 W/m-K or higher is recommended between the module and the heat sink.
  • Cosel recommends using a common-mode choke and X-capacitors at the input of the module to meet EMC requirements. The input filter should be designed to meet the specific EMC standards required by the system, such as CISPR 11 or FCC Part 15.
