P2781 Details

Etal Group recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and a separate power plane for the P2781. A minimum of 10 mils (0.25 mm) clearance around the component is recommended for optimal thermal performance.
The P2781 has a thermal pad on the bottom of the package. Ensure good thermal contact with a heat sink or a thermal interface material (TIM) to dissipate heat efficiently. A maximum junction temperature of 150°C should not be exceeded.
The recommended input voltage range for the P2781 is 3.0 V to 5.5 V. Operating the device outside this range may affect its performance and reliability.
To minimize EMI, ensure that the P2781 is placed close to the power source, and use a common-mode choke or a ferrite bead on the input lines. Additionally, use a shielded cable or a twisted pair for the output lines.
The maximum output current of the P2781 is 1 A. Exceeding this current may cause the device to overheat or malfunction.
