To ensure reliable operation in high-vibration environments, Adam Technologies recommends securing the device using a screw-down or adhesive mounting method. Additionally, the PCB should be designed with vibration-resistant components and a rigid PCB structure to minimize flexure.
While the datasheet specifies an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, Adam Technologies recommends derating the device by 1°C per 1,000 feet above sea level. Additionally, the device should be operated within a temperature range of -20°C to 70°C for optimal performance and reliability.
The PH1RA-10-UA is not designed for use in humid or wet environments. Adam Technologies recommends operating the device in a dry, clean environment with a relative humidity of 60% or less. If operation in a humid environment is necessary, a conformal coating or potting compound should be applied to protect the device.
While the datasheet specifies an input voltage range of 9-36V, Adam Technologies recommends operating the device within a range of 10-24V for optimal performance and reliability. Operation outside of this range may result in reduced performance or device failure.
