ROHM recommends a PCB layout with a thermal pad connected to a large copper area on the bottom layer, and multiple vias to dissipate heat efficiently.
Follow the recommended soldering conditions: 260°C peak temperature, 10-30 seconds soldering time, and use a solder with a melting point above 217°C. Ensure the PCB is clean and dry before soldering.
The maximum allowed voltage for the input pins is 6V, exceeding which may cause damage to the device.
The RSB12WTL is rated for operation up to 125°C, but derating is required above 85°C. Consult the datasheet for specific derating guidelines.
Use ESD protection devices, such as TVS diodes or ESD arrays, on the input lines, and follow proper handling and storage procedures to prevent ESD damage.
