Sensirion recommends a reflow soldering profile with a peak temperature of 260°C, a dwell time above 220°C of 30-60 seconds, and a cooling rate of 4°C/s.
To prevent contamination and damage, store the SHT25 in a dry, nitrogen-filled package or a sealed bag with desiccant. During assembly, avoid touching the sensor's membrane and keep the PCB away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Use a single-layer PCB with a ground plane, keep the digital lines short and away from noise sources, and use a 10 kΩ pull-up resistor on the SCL line. Ensure a clean and stable power supply to the SHT25.
The SHT25 is calibrated during manufacturing, but you can perform a one-point calibration for temperature and humidity using a reference sensor or a calibration chamber. Consult the datasheet and application notes for more information.
