  • XP Power recommends a PCB layout with a large copper area for heat dissipation, and a minimum of 2oz copper thickness. A thermal via array under the module can also improve heat transfer.
  • To ensure reliable start-up, XP Power recommends a soft-start circuit or a ramp-up voltage supply to prevent inrush currents. Additionally, a minimum input capacitance of 10uF is recommended.
