CUI recommends a PCB layout with a minimum of 2 oz copper thickness, a 1-inch square copper pad under the module, and thermal vias to dissipate heat effectively.
Ensure a soft-start circuit is implemented to limit inrush current, and provide a sufficient input capacitance to filter out noise and ripple. Also, follow the recommended input voltage range and derating guidelines.
The maximum allowable output capacitance is 10uF. Exceeding this value may cause instability or oscillation in the output voltage.
