85105AGILFT - Renesas Electronics

Description: The 85105I is a low skew, high performance 1-to-5 Differential-to-0.7V HCSL Fanout Buffer. The 85105I has two selectable clock inputs. The CLK0, nCLK0 pair can accept most standard differential input levels. The single-ended CLK1 can accept LVCMOS or LVTTL input levels. The clock enable is internally synchronized to eliminate runt clock pulses on the outputs during asynchronous assertion/deassertion of the clock enable pin. Guaranteed output and part-to-part skew characteristics make the 85105I ideal for th

85105AGILFT Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • Renesas provides a recommended PCB layout guide in their application note (R01AN3804EJ0100) which includes thermal design considerations, such as thermal vias, copper pours, and component placement.
  • Renesas recommends a specific power sequencing scheme in their application note (R01AN3804EJ0100) to ensure proper device operation. The sequence involves powering up the VCC, VCCIO, and VREF pins in a specific order.
  • Renesas recommends implementing EMI and ESD protection measures, such as using EMI filters, shielding, and TVS diodes, to ensure the device operates reliably in noisy environments. Refer to the Renesas EMI and ESD design guide (R01AN3805EJ0100) for more information.
  • To optimize power consumption, Renesas recommends using the device's power-saving modes, such as the Sleep mode, and optimizing the clock frequency and voltage settings. Additionally, using a low-power oscillator and minimizing the number of active circuits can also help reduce power consumption.
  • Renesas recommends following the thermal design guidelines and ensuring proper heat dissipation to prevent overheating. The device is rated for operation up to 125°C, but derating may be necessary for extended temperature ranges. Refer to the datasheet and application notes for more information.
