  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias is recommended. The top layer should have a wide copper pour connected to the GND pin, and the bottom layer should have a solid ground plane. This layout helps to dissipate heat efficiently.
  • To ensure reliable start-up, add a capacitor (e.g., 10uF) between the VIN pin and GND pin to filter out noise and provide a stable input voltage. Also, add a resistor (e.g., 1kΩ) between the EN pin and VIN pin to limit the inrush current.
