  • STMicroelectronics recommends a thermal pad on the bottom of the package, connected to a large copper area on the PCB to dissipate heat efficiently. A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane is also recommended.
  • To ensure stable output voltage, use a high-quality input capacitor (e.g., X5R or X7R ceramic) with a value of at least 10uF, and place it close to the VIN pin. Additionally, use a low-ESR output capacitor (e.g., 22uF) to reduce output voltage ripple.
