AG5405 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the signal traces short and away from the power plane to minimize noise and EMI.
  • Use a high-quality, low-ESR capacitor (e.g., 10uF, 16V, X7R) for power decoupling, and place it as close to the AG5405 as possible. Ensure the power supply is stable and within the recommended voltage range (3.3V ± 10%).
  • A clock signal with a frequency of 25MHz ± 100ppm, and a signal amplitude of 2.5V ± 10% is recommended. The clock signal should have a rise and fall time of < 5ns, and a duty cycle of 45% to 55%.
  • Verify that the AG5405 is operated within the recommended temperature range (-40°C to 85°C) and humidity range (5% to 95% RH). Check for any signs of moisture or condensation on the device or PCB. Ensure proper thermal management and consider using a thermal pad or heat sink if necessary.
