A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate analog ground plane is recommended. Keep the analog and digital signal traces separate and avoid crossing them over each other.
Use a thermocouple or a thermistor with a high accuracy rating. Ensure proper thermal coupling between the sensor and the device under test. Calibrate the temperature measurement system before use.
The power supply lines should be decoupled with 10uF and 100nF capacitors. The maximum allowed noise level is 100mV peak-to-peak.
The AK5720VT is rated for operation up to 125°C. However, the device's accuracy and reliability may degrade above 100°C. Ensure proper heat sinking and thermal management in high-temperature applications.
Check the power supply voltage, clock signal, and reset signal. Verify that the device is properly configured and that the communication protocol is correct. Use an oscilloscope to debug the digital signals.
