  • API Delevan recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and thermal vias to dissipate heat. A minimum of 2 oz copper thickness is recommended for the top and bottom layers. Additionally, a thermal pad with a minimum size of 0.5 inches x 0.5 inches is recommended for heat sinking.
  • API Delevan recommends using a soldering iron with a temperature range of 250°C to 260°C and a solder with a melting point of 180°C to 190°C.
