DRV401AIDWP Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • The DRV401AIDWP can operate from -40°C to 125°C, but the maximum junction temperature (TJ) should not exceed 150°C.
  • Follow the recommended layout guidelines in the datasheet, keeping the high-current paths short and away from sensitive analog signals. Use a solid ground plane, and consider using a shielded inductor and a common-mode choke to reduce EMI.
  • A low-ESR ceramic capacitor with a value of 10uF to 22uF is recommended for the input capacitor (CIN). X5R or X7R dielectric types are suitable for this application.
  • The output voltage can be adjusted by changing the resistor divider ratio (RFB1 and RFB2) connected to the FB pin. Use the formula provided in the datasheet to calculate the required resistor values for the desired output voltage.
  • The EN (enable) pin is used to turn the device on or off. Connect EN to VIN to enable the device, or connect it to GND to disable it. You can also use an external logic signal to control the EN pin.
