  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the high-frequency components close to the EPC2103 and use short, wide traces for the power paths.
  • Use a thermal interface material (TIM) between the EPC2103 and a heat sink. Ensure good airflow around the heat sink and keep it away from other heat sources.
  • The maximum allowed voltage on the VIN pin is 5.5V. Exceeding this voltage may damage the device.
  • Use the FB pin to set the output voltage. Connect a resistive divider from the output voltage to the FB pin, and adjust the resistor values to achieve the desired output voltage.
