Altech recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane for the relay coil. The relay should be placed near the edge of the board to minimize electromagnetic interference.

To ensure reliable operation, it's essential to provide adequate heat sinking and airflow around the relay. Altech recommends a maximum ambient temperature of 85°C and a maximum junction temperature of 125°C.

The HE4WPR/02 relay is not designed for safety-critical applications. It does not meet the requirements for IEC 61508 or IEC 60601. For safety-critical applications, Altech recommends using relays that meet the relevant safety standards.
