  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate analog and digital power plane is recommended. Keep the analog and digital components separate and use a star-grounding scheme to minimize noise.
  • Ensure the amplifier is operated within the recommended gain-bandwidth product, and the feedback network is properly designed. Also, use a low-ESR capacitor for decoupling and keep the layout symmetrical to minimize parasitic inductance.
  • The ISL28218FUZ can drive up to 100pF of capacitive load. However, it's recommended to limit the capacitive load to 10pF to 20pF for optimal performance and stability.
  • Use a voltage regulator to limit the input voltage to the recommended range. Add ESD protection diodes and a TVS diode to protect the amplifier from overvoltage and ESD events.
