  • XP Power recommends a PCB layout with a large copper area for heat dissipation, and a minimum of 2oz copper thickness. A thermal via array under the module is also recommended.
  • To ensure reliable start-up, XP Power recommends a soft-start circuit or a ramp-up of the input voltage to prevent inrush currents. A minimum input capacitance of 10uF is also recommended.
  • The maximum allowed capacitance on the output is 220uF. Exceeding this value may affect the stability of the converter.
