LTD-2601G Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the input and output traces short and away from each other to minimize EMI.
  • Monitor the input voltage, output current, and junction temperature to ensure they are within the specified limits. Use a thermal management system to keep the junction temperature below 125°C.
  • A 10uF to 22uF X7R or X5R ceramic capacitor is recommended for input decoupling. The capacitor should be placed as close to the VIN pin as possible.
  • Use the EN pin to disable the device when not in use. Ensure the input voltage is below 2.5V when the device is in standby mode. Use a low-quiescent-current LDO regulator for the VCC pin.
  • The maximum allowed voltage on the EN pin is 6V. Exceeding this voltage may damage the device.
