A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the input and output traces short and away from each other to minimize EMI.
Monitor the input voltage, output current, and junction temperature to ensure they are within the specified limits. Use a thermal management system to keep the junction temperature below 125°C.
A 10uF to 22uF X7R or X5R ceramic capacitor is recommended for input decoupling. The capacitor should be placed as close to the VIN pin as possible.
Use the EN pin to disable the device when not in use. Ensure the input voltage is below 2.5V when the device is in standby mode. Use a low-quiescent-current LDO regulator for the VCC pin.
The maximum allowed voltage on the EN pin is 6V. Exceeding this voltage may damage the device.
