A 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane and a separate power plane is recommended. Keep the input and output traces short and away from each other to minimize EMI.
Use a thermal pad or thermal tape to attach the device to a heat sink or metal core PCB. Ensure good airflow around the device and avoid blocking the thermal pads.
The maximum allowed voltage on the EN pin is 6V. Exceeding this voltage may damage the device.
The LTL-4231 is rated for operation up to 85°C. For higher temperatures, consider using a heat sink or derating the output current.
Check the input voltage, output voltage, and enable pin voltage. Verify the PCB layout and thermal management. Use an oscilloscope to check for oscillations or noise on the output.
