MASTERGAN1 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  • STMicroelectronics recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and a separate power plane for the MASTERGAN1. The device should be placed near the power supply, and the input and output capacitors should be placed as close as possible to the device.
  • The MASTERGAN1 requires a bias voltage of 5V to 15V, and a bias current of 1mA to 10mA. The bias voltage should be decoupled with a 10uF capacitor, and the bias current should be limited with a 1kΩ resistor.
