  • The maximum sampling rate of the MCP3201 is 100 ksps (kilosamples per second) for a single channel, and 50 ksps for multiple channels.
  • To configure the MCP3201 for differential mode, connect the positive input to VIN+ and the negative input to VIN-, and set the DIF bit in the Configuration Register to 1. For pseudo-differential mode, connect the positive input to VIN+ and the negative input to GND, and set the DIF bit to 0.
  • The VREF pin is used to provide an external reference voltage to the ADC. This allows the user to set the full-scale range of the ADC to a specific voltage level.
