  • Apex Microtechnology recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and thermal vias under the package to ensure efficient heat dissipation. A thermal pad on the bottom of the package should be connected to a heat sink or a thermal interface material.
  • To ensure stability, Apex recommends using a minimum output impedance of 50 ohms, and a maximum capacitive load of 100 pF. Additionally, a series resistor (Rs) of 10-20 ohms can be added to the output to prevent oscillations.
