PAM2841SR Details

A thermal pad is recommended to be connected to a large copper area on the PCB to dissipate heat efficiently. The copper area should be at least 1 inch x 1 inch in size and should be connected to a solid ground plane to ensure good heat dissipation.
To ensure stable output voltage regulation, it is recommended to use a minimum output capacitance of 10uF with an ESR of less than 1 ohm. Additionally, the input capacitor should be placed as close to the VIN pin as possible to reduce noise and ripple.
Although the datasheet specifies a maximum input voltage of 5.5V, it is recommended to limit the input voltage to 5V to ensure reliable operation and to prevent damage to the device.
To reduce noise and ripple on the output voltage, it is recommended to add a 10nF ceramic capacitor in parallel with the output capacitor. Additionally, the input capacitor should be placed as close to the VIN pin as possible to reduce noise and ripple.
The maximum output current that can be drawn from the PAM2841SR is 4A. However, it is recommended to limit the output current to 3.5A to ensure reliable operation and to prevent overheating.
