  • RECOM recommends a PCB layout with a large copper area for heat dissipation, and a minimum of 2oz copper thickness. A thermal via array under the module can also improve heat dissipation.
  • To ensure reliable start-up, RECOM recommends a soft-start circuit or a ramp-up of the input voltage to prevent inrush currents. Additionally, a minimum input capacitance of 10uF is recommended.
  • The maximum allowed capacitance on the output is 47uF. Exceeding this value may cause instability or oscillations in the converter.
