A thermal pad is recommended under the IC, and a solid ground plane on the bottom layer can help to dissipate heat. Keep the thermal path short and use thermal vias to connect the thermal pad to the ground plane.
To ensure stability, use a minimum output capacitance of 10uF, and a maximum ESR of 1 ohm. Also, make sure the output capacitor is placed close to the IC and connected to a low-impedance ground plane.
The maximum input voltage that can be applied to the VIN pin is 6.5V. Exceeding this voltage may damage the IC.
The output voltage can be calculated using the formula: Vout = (R1 / R2) * 0.6V, where R1 and R2 are the resistors connected to the FB pin.
The minimum input voltage required for the regulator to operate is 2.5V. The regulator will not operate below this voltage.
