  • Apex Microtechnology recommends a 4-layer PCB with a solid ground plane, and a minimum of 10 mils of clearance around the device. A thermal pad on the bottom of the device should be connected to a large copper area on the PCB to dissipate heat.
  • The SWR200M requires a bias voltage of 15V to 30V, and a bias current of 1mA to 10mA. A voltage regulator and a current limiting resistor can be used to set the bias voltage and current. The datasheet provides a recommended bias circuit.
