Ensure that the device is operated within the recommended voltage and current limits, and that the PCB is designed to minimize thermal gradients. Also, consider using a thermal interface material to improve heat transfer between the device and the heat sink.
Infineon recommends using X7R or X5R ceramic capacitors with a minimum capacitance of 10uF and a maximum ESR of 100mΩ. The capacitors should be placed as close as possible to the device pins.
Follow the recommended power-up and power-down sequences outlined in the datasheet. Ensure that the power supplies are ramped up and down slowly to prevent voltage spikes and inrush currents.
Infineon recommends using a high-Tg PCB material (e.g., FR4) with a minimum thickness of 1.6mm. A 4-layer stack-up with a solid ground plane is recommended to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI).
