  • STMicroelectronics provides a recommended PCB layout in the application note AN2986, which includes guidelines for thermal vias, copper pours, and component placement to ensure optimal thermal performance.
  • To protect the TDA7491LP from back-EMF, use a flyback diode (e.g., 1N4007) in parallel with the inductive load, and ensure that the diode is rated for the maximum voltage and current of the load.
