  • TI provides a recommended PCB layout in the datasheet (Figure 23) and in the TPS53124RGER Evaluation Module User's Guide (SLUU444). Follow these guidelines to minimize noise, ensure proper thermal management, and optimize performance.
  • The input capacitor values depend on the input voltage, output voltage, and desired ripple current. TI recommends using X7R or X5R ceramic capacitors with a minimum capacitance of 10uF and a voltage rating of at least 1.5 times the input voltage. Refer to the datasheet (Section 8.2.2) for more information.
  • The TPS53124RGER can deliver up to 2A of output current. However, the maximum output current is dependent on the input voltage, output voltage, and thermal conditions. Refer to the datasheet (Section 6.3) for more information on output current capability.
