Epson: Automotive Real Time Clocks (RA8804CE, RA8000CE, RA4000CE)

Update Description

Automotive applications such as battery management systems, in-vehicle networking, and infotainment systems require a low power, high-accuracy timing solutions that can operate at high temperatures. Epson RA8804CE, RA8000CE and RA4000CE are AEC-Q100 compliant RTCs with a built-in digital TCXO that enables exceptional stability over a wide temperature range to ensure high accuracy timing in automotive applications. The RTC modules feature a 3.2 by 2.5 by 1.0 millimeter package with an integrated 32 kilohertz crystal to save power and PCB area, plus an event system to detect events and record timestamps while the MCU remains in sleep mode to save additional power. The RA8804CE can operate at up to 105 degrees Celsius and has a typical current consumption of 350 nanoamps. The RA8000CE and RA4000CE extend the operating range to 125 degrees Celsius while dropping current consumption to 300 nanoamps.
