Murata: SCHA63T Series 6-DOF Gyroscope & Accelerometer
Update Description
Murata’s SCHA63T combines a 3-axis accelerometer and 3 1-axis gyroscopes using our capacitive 3D-MEMS technology to deliver high performance inertial measurements in challenging applications with 6 degrees of freedom. This robust sensor is designed for high reliability and stability, offering stable performance over the full temperature range and in high shock and/or high vibration environments. Additionally, cross-axis calibration is performed at the factory to minimize orthogonality error. The gyroscopes have a range of plus or minus 300 degrees per second while the accelerometer has a range of plus or minus 6g, with two mixed signal ASICs providing signal processing and output via SPI protocol. The SCHA63T is designed for use in industrial IMUs, providing centimeter-level accuracy navigation and positioning, with advanced self-diagnostic features that enable full compliance with functional safety requirements for use in safety-critical applications.
