Murata’s Type 1XK Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth module provides high performance wireless connectivity in a tiny, shielded package for size- and power-sensitive IoT applications. The Type 1XK module supports 2.4 and 5 gigahertz Wi-Fi with data rates up to 150 megabits per second when combined with the correct processor. It also supports Bluetooth 5.2 with data rates up to 3 megabits per second and includes coexistence hardware and algorithms to maximize the performance of both wireless interfaces. The module uses an SDIO 3.0 interface for the WLAN section and a 4-wire UART for the Bluetooth section, and can be used with a PCB trace antenna or U.FL patch antenna. Its small size and excellent wireless performance make the Type 1XK module ideal for IoT applications, handheld devices, gateways, and more.
